Tim Nurge is the Operations Manager for Cambria Community Healthcare District. The main aspects of his role involve overseeing the day-to-day ambulance operations for the EMT's and Paramedics. He recently accepted the role of Operations Manager after working as a Paramedic with CCHD for about 4 years. He has more than 7 years of experience in the field of Emergency Medicine. Originally a Bay Area native, Tim made his way down to San Luis Obispo working as a "Coordinator for Student Development" for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. From there, he fell in love with the area and never looked back. "I have worked on an ambulance running calls all over the San Luis Obispo county, but there's just something about Cambria that makes this the best job ever." Tim's biggest passion at work is teaching and training due to his philosophy that we never stop learning and all knowledge is perishable. Tim's biggest passions at home include spending time with his family, carpentry, and mixed martial arts.
